Welcome to The Ink Quay, a creative studio with a desire to combine beautiful art with the slow craft of hand written calligraphy.
I love the quiet concentration that comes with each calligraphy stroke, creating simple shapes that come together to form a beautiful word. I couldn’t help but think how great these words would look if they were framed by a gorgeous design and so, the concept of the Ink Quay was born.
Inspiration for each design comes from the great Australian outdoors. Colours, textures & patterns inspired by mother nature are visualised in each design, paired with a personalised hand written note. Creating something beautiful for your walls or a perfect, personalised gift.
